Area in Macomb believed to be the site of alleged atrocities.

The area is believed to be the site of alleged atrocities involving 12-year-old Warren girl Kimberly King, last seen in 1979, and four to six others, said Warren Mayor James Fouts in a news release.

The City of Warren will be holding a press conference today at 1PM at the site of the alleged atrocities involving a Warren resident, Kimberly King and upwards of 4-7 other young ladies.

This horrendous crime took place in 1979 while Kimberly was staying at her grandparents’ home in the City of Warren.

Attending the conference will be her older sister Konnie Beyma and best friend Annie Godbhout. Annie was the last person to see her alive.

Special commendations go the Warren Special Victims Unit and Detective Jim Twardesky. Detectives Jim Twardesky and Brent Chisolm have been investigating this case since October of 2017.

Mayor Fouts hopes this will help bring closure to this long nightmare for the family of Kimberly King as well as the other families. This monster (Arthur Ream) robbed these young girls of decades of life.

Warren Mayor James Fouts appreciates the work of the Michigan State Police, Macomb County Sheriff and the FBI.

This has been painstaking team work all with the goal of bringing an end to this nightmare for parents and friends
