Volunteers from the City of Warren Honored at an Annual Ceremony

Warren Residents who have graciously donated their time will be honored at the city’s 7th Annual “Outstanding Volunteer Recognition Ceremony” held Thursday, April 21 at the Warren City Hall Atrium at 8 p.m.

Warren residents who have volunteered to help the community come from many occupations and backgrounds including church, civic, charitable, and religious leaders and groups will be among those recognized at the Ceremony.  To date, over 108 volunteers have been nominated for the Award.

“These volunteers have earned this recognition for their time and effort they have contributed to our city,” said Warren Mayor James Fouts.  Mayor Fouts began the idea of honoring Warren Residents in 2010 during the National Volunteer Month in April, and has since become an annual event in the city of Warren.

The public is welcome to attend.
