Warren City Hall Lights Up For Skin Cancer Awareness, Cystic Fibrosis Awareness, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Awareness and Lupus Awareness.
City of Warren’s energy efficient, state-of-the-art LED lighting fixtures will illuminate City Hall’s exterior to bring public attention to National Skin Cancer Awareness, Cystic Fibrosis Awareness, ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) Awareness and Lupus Awareness campaigns.
May is the awareness month for each of these conditions.
Warren Mayor James Fouts has directed the front of Warren City Hall be lighted black, purple, red and purple from dusk Thursday, May 2 until dawn on Friday, May 3 to bring public attention to these conditions.
The day is an opportunity for members of the affected community, from patients and their families, to researchers and policy makers, to join together to raise awareness for these conditions all over the world.
