Great news for City of Warren and those who work for Chrysler or those who will be hired!
Chrysler announced that they will invest ONE BILLION dollars in the Chrysler LLC Warren Truck Assembly Plant and will also hire an additional 2500 workers plus a bonus for all of their workers at that plant.
They will build the Dodge Ram. This means that jobs are coming back from Mexico. It also means at least in this case the Trump tax cut has paid great dividends for Warren, Michigan and Chrysler LLC workers.
Building on the remarkable progress and growth the city has experienced under Mayor Fouts’ leadership, Warren continues to be a leader in attracting business investments to the region.
Crain’s Detroit early last year announced that Warren was number one in industrial assessment and with this additional investment of one billion Warren will continue to be number 1!
What other city in the Metro Area has a BILLION dollar plus investment from both General Motors and Chrysler LLC?
Mayor Jim Fouts is very proud of his administration’s effort to continue to convince business to invest in Warren.
More jobs and more investment in the City’s older section. This additional businesses in the south Warren area means more jobs and more revenue for the city. South Warren will likely get a boost with more investment for housing!
This domino effect should mean a boom for the city of Warren and our residents!
The best is yet to come! New developments to be announced later this month!
